I recently subscribed an ADSL  from one of the ISP in my town.I bought this “Shiro” company ADSL router which has two ports(1 Ethernet & 1 USB).Since i don’t have any NIC card installed in my computer i have to use my Nikon S1 digital cameras’ USB cable to get connected to the internet.But the line was disturbing and it gets disconnected time to time.So after two days i bought NIC card and installed it, everything was perfect.

But when i tried to upload files in my web server through “WS_FTP Pro” then the error message came something like “500 i won’t open connection to 10.xx.xxx.xx(only to 120.xxx.xxx.xx)“.I kept on trying and sometime it connects but most of the time error messages like mentioned earlier and connection time out kept on coming.I know that ADSL have more low upstream(upload) and high downstream(download) but at least i should be able to connect to the web server properly.

So i search the net for this problem.I found many topics related to this but all are useless except one or two topics which gave me a hint.Most of the topics i found suggested to use the FTP options and set the PASSIVE MODE on.I tried in both “WS_FTP Pro” and “Filezilla(new one installed)” but no luck.Feels little improvement but not much that.Then one of the forum said to use “GoFTP”.So i downloaded and installed it.My luck, it worked nicely than the previous two ones.But it also get disconnected.Then i downloaded the “FlashFXp” and it works almost perfectly.No need to configure anything,it automatically enables the passive mode itself and connects automatically after few sec even it gets disconnected.

So use FlashFXp if your are getting the similar problems.Its suits the situation perfectly.Though its not permanent solution as it also disconnects sometime but it makes your life easier than the previously mentioned other three software.I think its the my router setup or the ISP setting that need to be changed to solve this problem but i don’t know how.Many topics i read in the net also pointing out the issue of IP address and routing table but i don’t understand what they are saying.

For now FlashFXp is my hero.Do anyone know other method to solve this problem?Help will be appreciated.
